Know that all of these structures such as the connective tissues are largely made of protein.

Why heavy resistance training is important for your quality of life as you get older.
Note the speaker talks near the end of the video of how “explosive movements” also can be used as training. My opinion is that such training should only be done by a person who has worked herself up to such training techniques or if he has a professional trainer guiding the training program. I would not start a training program with explosive movements due to risk of injury.
